The story of Black Jesus follows a young South African who discovers that his family has long owed a huge spiritual debt, which he must repay by venturing into the unknown to disturb the eternal sleep of a great king. The book follows him on his journey of being entrusted by the spirits to do what was written a very long, long time ago.
